ACHIEVEMENTS AS SCHOOL TRUSTEE: 

• Instrumental in securing over $60 million for a new Bishop Allen school building and a new St. Elizabeth school building in Etobicoke-Lakeshore

• Facilitated a move of two schools to temporary locations during the construction of the new school buildings 

• Advocated for an additional $6.2 million to preserve the historic wing of St. Leo school in Etobicoke-Lakeshore

• Advocated for fourteen school playgrounds/yards and two daycares

• Initiated outdoor classrooms 

• Chair of Corporate Services Strategic Planning and Property Committee

• Member of Ukrainian-Canadian Advisory Committee
